High-temperature, gas-cooled reactors with an closed-loop turbojet combustion system integrated into the core unit, eliminating balance of plant (BoP) components. Dry cooling supports the combined Brayton-organic Rankine power conversion cycle, and Holos Generators are capable of high-resolution, automatic load following. The core is formed through the neutronic coupling of independently subcritical, integral power modules, actively positioned on-site by an Automatic Module Positioning System (AMPS). Entire Holos Quad generators, capable of producing up to 13 MWe without fit inside a single ISO container; the larger Holos Titan generators, housed in 12 ISO containers would be capable of producing up to 81 MWe. A smaller Holos generator for rapid deployment applications (like emergency response) would be configured for air transport and for use as stand-alone electric islands without need for substation switchyard equipment.
