The Assessor platform is a cloud-based, AI-enabled distribution grid analysis software with build incapabilities to evaluate the state of the grid and run optimization scenarios. Kevala’s initial analytics modules include integrated DER scenario and demand modeling, non-wires alternatives (NWA) assessments, behind-the-meter PV forecasts, EV impact modelling, and rate impact modelling. AI algorithms trained on large, proprietary datasets can supplement client-provided data. Such solutions can be utilized to support site selection, interconnection, network optimization, integration of mobile resources,and rate planning.

OrxaGrid is a cloud-based grid analytics platform that leverages machine learning algorithms to detect anomalies and predict occurrences of power cuts, theft, and system imbalances, utilizing data from existing sources (such as meter management systems, SCADA systems, and monitoring equipment) and/or proprietary retrofit sensors. The platform can identify and predict network inefficiencies such as voltage violations and phase imbalances and is capable of providing asset health analytics to predict asset failures and inefficiencies. Insights and analyses are accessible through app-and web-based dashboards.

The platform enables contract simulation (using environmental data), climate/weather risk assessment and protection, environmental modeling and analytics, monitoring of the impact of investments on water, air and forests (using third party data), and opportunity identification (through coverage of thousands of industrial operations).
