Our technology is based on an absorption process and a compression process, utilizing a mixture of water and ammonia. A Hybrid Heat Pump is built with standard ammonia compressors, with a design pressure of 25 bar. A traditional heat pump using pure ammonia, can heat water to 50°C at this pressure. A Hybrid Heat Pump can heat water to 120°C using the exact same equipment. It can cover a whole new range of temperatures than traditional heat pumps, meeting the demands of a lot of industrial processes.

Our ETS system gains efficiency by taking advantage of off-peak electricity, which is charged at a lower rate since it is consumed during times when demand on the electrical grid is low. The Steffes ETS system converts this off-peak electricity to heat and stores it in heating elements contained within high-density ceramic bricks.

Wifi-controlled smart plugs controlled via an app provides remote real-time and historical home energy consumption data and estimated running costs. Works with all major voice control platforms for in-home control of smart plug-connected devices. IFTTT (If This Then That) features allow for the automatic control of electric devices given an "if" (such as turning off hair straighteners upon leaving the house).
